End of Year Deadlines and Items

Can you believe we literally have only a couple of days of site left!?!

TEXTBOOKS
Your Medical Terminology text book MUST be in class next week so I can check it off! No book, no grade, no credits... NO EXCEPTIONS!

MORGUE SIGN UP
Click on this link: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/30E0E49ACAF29ABF58-morgue to sign up for the morgue field trip!

ARTICULATION PAPERWORK
Don't have your W number yet? You will NOT get the credit at Las Po for our class, and there is absolutely no reason not do except pure laziness! Just ran into a Kaiser employee who said that she took Med Occs four years ago and that those credits helped her so much!

SASHES/CORDS
I am working on them... Keep your fingers crossed that we can get them in time! I am thinking they will be about 12 bucks a student!

PM CLASS
Today was your last day of site.  I hope it was all and so much more than you had hoped for!
I will see you for our LAST class Tuesday from 1-3.

AM CLASS
AM, your last day at site will be the 10th.  Remember to bring your review for the final!
I expect you to come to class the morning of 13th and 14th.  The 14th will be our FINAL!

PERRY OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR BOTH HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE WOMEN

We’re very excited to announce an upcoming Perry Outreach Program on Saturday, October 8, 2016
at the University of California San Francisco in San Francisco, CA. The Perry Outreach Program is a free, one-day, hands-on experience for high school and college-aged women who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine and engineering. Students will hear from women leaders in these fields and try it for themselves by performing mock orthopaedic surgeries and biomechanics experiments.
We are now seeking applicants for our San Francisco, CA program. Participants should be women in grades 10 and up with an expressed interest in science, medicine and/or engineering.  We would very much appreciate if you could pass this information along to any high school principals, high school science teachers or high school students you may know.  Applicants should be directed to fill out our online application in advance of the September 8, 2016 application deadline.
Additional information can be found on our website: www.perryinitiative.org
The application may be accessed directly using the following link: http://perryinitiative.org/programs/student-online-application/
More information and a printable flyer for this event can be found here. Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions you may have.  Again, we sincerely appreciate your help in identifying qualified applicants for our program.
All the best,
